Yes, it's true -- while I've been off-LJ, I've gone over to the pony side of the Force, as it were. Since I don't participate in the fandom, I wouldn't say I'm a full-blown Brony by any means, but I enjoy the show and can see why it's developed an adult fandom. I also think it's worth reccing to anyone who hasn't given it a shot.

I have to say, Simon "gets" rabbits every bit as well as he does cats -- bunnies do tend to have the attitude of "Nyah, can't catch me!", and they're terrible little smartasses much of the time. :)

So a friend and I were eating chocolate and cruising YouTube the other night, watching random vids of Christmas traditions from around the world (inspired by this Cracked column, "Five creepy Christmas traditions from around the world"), and we got into a Krampus-fest to celebrate our Germanic heritage.

This vid had us laughing our asses off, and since I cant get the catchy little tune out of my head, I thought I'd share the earworm. Also, the animation is so cute it just kills me. I'm easily amused when I'm tanked up on chocolate. Which I still am, BTW. Whee!
